I was responding to the many replies concerning good vs. evil. Also, C.S. Lewis writes brilliantly about how Jesus can only be seen as what HE claims to be, or a crazy lunatic. There’s no other option. The author makes it clear that Jesus mustn’t be referred to as a great teacher.
It’s not a preachy book, for anyone interested. Lewis was an atheist until one day he took a walk with his good friend Tolkien, and he came back a believer. That’s how fast it can happen.

Ever since then, my understanding of the depth of the deception has only increased dramatically. Proof is everywhere - you listen to anything and you know where it has its roots. I do not know if you or Douglas Vogt was actually the 'first' to describe this scenario in such beautiful detail, but I did learn about this from him first. So I see this magnificent piece you wrote as verification, sort of by triangulation of stories. (& they are *GREAT* stories, too! And so is the Bhagavat Gita and stories of Krshna!) I also have a good background in Latin (4 years), and Hebrew (10+ years), have been meditating since early 70's, and as a scientist, the version with which I resonate best is John Wheeler's "participatory" universe (which is also responsive, interactive and very real). I also know that trying to tell people this information may get you terrorized or lynched (I see it in some of the responses here!)
