I avoided a major operation on my back by getting TCM treatment. I also had some osteopathy, herbalist tinctures and other excellent massage but the TCM nailed it. I hobbled in, I walked out. I was booked for an operation to fuse my L6 vertebrae to my sacrum. I never needed the op after TCM. I had acupressure. It was miraculous.

I have had several sessions. My first one was curiosity. I hate needles, that is shots. Being a navy brat, I had too many. But becoming an energy healer ...I had to try new things. The first session was so interesting... and I walked out changed! The colors around me were brilliant and the world looked clear in a way I don't remember seeing before. I had sessions later on for kidneys.. this is serious medical treatment!

An absolute gift of a documentary! Deeply moving. Perhaps a copy needs to be sent to the GMC 🤪 (Sorry - negative thought thrown overboard). A few months back I read two books on Qigong. I was astonished by the testimonies of people who'd practised it (often going on to teach it), being healed after being written off my main stream medicine. After watching this film my learning of Qigong is going to the top of the list. Growing up in London I joined a Tai Chi class and became quite good at it, but that was 50 years ago. Hey ho, I'm still fit and flexible despite being a life long smoker. It was wonderful to see parts of China that are so natural and beautiful, including the people. Many thanks, Frances. Your previous life in China shines bright in this life!

Ps. I recommend reading 'The Herbalist: Nicolas Culpeper and the Fight for Medical Freedom' by Benjamin Woolley. We once had herbs.

I loved that documentary for the same reasons. I especially loved the guy who healed without touching people! That was wildly exciting to watch!
