For several years I had talked about my plan to buy an off grid home and most of my friends thought it was a daft idea. “What do you know about farming?” and other such sneers. If I had listened to my friends I would never have done it. I wanted someone to come with me but even Dan could not give up the easy life.
I had a fantastic time with absolutely no regrets and I made friends along the way. My happiest memories were made during that time.
IF there really is reincarnation, I bloody well hope that my next go-around will be less fuckin around with substances in my yoof, and a lot more exploration into physical construction of various possibilities, like… farming, or building my own home, or something along those lines.
I STILL have a strong desire to be a mechanic, so I can tinker on cars.
